Aboitiz Construction Aims to Finish Lima Estate by 2025



Aboitiz Construction, the development arm of the Aboitiz Group, has commenced the construction of the 72.2-hectare LIMA Estate in Batangas with plans to wrap up the project by 2025. The company aims to accommodate new businesses in the area and generate numerous job opportunities for the local communities.

The project encompasses various aspects such as earthworks, site development, road network, perimeter fence, drainage, waterline, and sewer line works. During its peak season, the project has employed 219 skilled workers, showcasing Aboitiz Construction’s dedication to creating employment opportunities and fostering expertise within the local community.

Using advanced technology, Aboitiz Construction has implemented the use of Trimble, a cutting-edge GPS-based solution. This technology is expected to enhance the efficiency of construction equipment, significantly reducing the need for traditional surveys.

Ramez Sidhom, Chief Operating Officer of Aboitiz Construction, stated that their expertise and cutting-edge technology will support LIMA in its expansion efforts within the economic zone. He emphasized that as they pursue various projects, their purpose is to build for business prosperity and community advancement. The company’s job creation contributes to the development of local talents and overall economic growth.

Currently, Aboitiz Construction is engaged in six ongoing land development projects in LIMA and has recently been awarded a significant project for a Bulacan-based food company. The company has been serving as a trusted contractor for LIMA Estate since last year, fulfilling its site development needs. Moreover, Aboitiz Construction is also handling one of the largest projects in the area, the industrial expansion of the Estate’s 57-hectare lot at Block 9-2, using the Trimble technology.
