Zamboanga to Compete for Stamp’s ONE Women’s Atomweight Title



Filipina mixed martial artist Denice Zamboanga is set to compete for the ONE women’s atomweight world championship against former training partner Stamp Fairtex at ONE 167 in Bangkok on June 8. Both fighters are on win streaks, making their upcoming clash highly anticipated. Zamboanga secured victories in her last two fights after facing two consecutive losses. On the other hand, Fairtex achieved four consecutive wins, including two knockouts against tough opponents. The bout between Zamboanga and Fairtex was originally scheduled for a previous event but was postponed. The event will also feature ONE featherweight muay thai world champion Tawanchai defending his title against Jo Nattawut. In another match, Filipino Jeremy Pacatiw will debut under Lions Nation MMA against China’s Wang Shuo at ONE Fight Night 21 in Bangkok on April 6. The main event of the card will witness a match between Suriname’s Regian Eersel and France’s Alexis Nicolas for the lightweight kickboxing world championship.
