Kapamilya Celebrities Join Star Magic All-Star Games 2024: Gerald Anderson’s Team Triumphs over Vice Ganda’s



The 2024 Star Magic All-Star Games proved to be a resounding success as it captured the attention of both the audience at Araneta Coliseum and online viewers on June 2.

The Shooting Stars Red basketball team, led by player-coach Gerald Anderson, managed to break the winning streak of the “It’s Showtime” team supported by Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro.

“We put in a lot of dedication and hard work, and it paid off. We’re happy,” Gerald commented. “We prepared for this. We did extra work. We have a chat group where we constantly communicate. We motivate each other, always giving inspirational words.”

Ion Perez, Lance Carr, Argel Saycon, Derrick Hubalde, and Young JV were recognized as the game’s Mythical 5 during the second game, with Young JV earning the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP).

In another basketball matchup, the Shooting Stars Blue team, led by Donny Pangilinan and Ronnie Alonte, secured a victory against the guest participants from Cong’s Anbilibabol Basketball Team.

Actress Chie Filomeno expressed her pride in the P-pop group BINI in a related incident.

Loisa Andalio spearheaded the Lady Spikers to successfully defend their title against the Lady Setters in the volleyball game.

Analain Salvador clinched the MVP award for the fourth consecutive time and was part of the Mythical Six along with BINI’s Mikha Lim, Vivoree, Awra Briguela, Reign Parani, and Janah Zaplan.

BINI delivered energetic performances of “Pantropiko” and “Karera” during the halftime show of the final game, while the new P-Pop boy group Wrive also entertained the audience during the event.

Celebrities like Belle Mariano, Barbie Imperial, Francine Diaz, Chie Filomeno, JL and Akira of BGYO, Mutya Orquia, and Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi were present at the event.
