Javier supports the development of a new racetrack

A prominent figure in the Philippine horseracing industry, Leyte Vice Gov. Leonardo “Sandy” Javier Jr., has announced his full support for the development of a new thoroughbred racetrack in Padre Garcia, Batangas. The racetrack, owned and operated by HAPI Jockey Club Inc., will be known as the Philippine Jockey Club.

Javier, who is also the owner and founder of Andok’s Litson Corp., has been involved in the horseracing industry for 35 years and has a track record of producing great champions as a breeder. His decision to invest in the new racetrack project is expected to expedite its development.

HAPI Jockey Club Inc. was granted a 25-year franchise under Republic Act No. 11649 to construct, operate, and maintain racetracks for horse racing in Batangas, Laguna, and Cavite provinces. With Javier’s support, the project is poised to make significant progress in the near future.
