AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC), a subsidiary of AyalaLand Inc., has announced a lease agreement with China-based firm Newbie Station Logistics Inc. The agreement will allow Newbie Station to establish its operations at the ALogis Calamba site in Laguna, a property owned by ALLHC.
Under the lease agreement, Newbie Station will occupy 33,400 square meters of gross leasable space at the Calamba site. This comes in addition to a previous lease contract signed between Newbie Station and ALLHC in 2021 for 13,000 square meters of warehouse leasable area at the ALogis Biñan 4 site, also located in Laguna.
Newbie Station has also leased an additional 11,600 square meters at the ALogis Biñan 4 facility, which was turned over to them in May 2023.
The presence of Newbie Station in both sites is expected to generate employment opportunities for approximately 1,300 workers in the province and nearby areas. ALLHC sees this as a testament to their role as a preferred partner in logistics real estate solutions.
Chief Operating Officer of ALLHC, Patrick C. Avila, expressed gratitude to Newbie Station for their trust in ALogis for their warehouse requirements. Avila emphasized that the expansion of Newbie Station not only strengthens their presence but also creates more job opportunities for local residents.
Jingwu Yan, the Marketing Director of Newbie Station, commended ALLHC for providing state-of-the-art infrastructure, strategically located facilities, and a dedicated team. Yan believes that ALLHC provides the perfect foundation for Newbie Station to expand its footprint and redefine international cross-border fulfillment.
ALLHC currently manages nine properties in Luzon, including ALogis sites in Biñan, Laguna; Naic, Cavite; Calamba, Laguna; Porac, Pampanga; and Santo Tomas, Batangas. The company is also venturing into the build-to-suit facilities space to accommodate businesses requiring customized and specifically designed facilities. Additionally, there is an ongoing expansion of 11,000 square meters of leasable space at the ALogis Naic 2 in the Cavite Technopark.
This partnership between ALLHC and Newbie Station reflects the growing demand for industrial real estate in the Philippines and the mutual benefits that arise from such collaborations.
