Unveiling the HONOR MagicPad 13: A Powerhouse Tablet with Impressive Features

HONOR recently held a significant event in China where they unveiled several new hardware offerings, including the impressive MagicPad 13.

Despite its name, the HONOR MagicPad 13 is not the thirteenth tablet in the MagicPad series. Rather, the name signifies its display size, which measures 13 inches. This tablet features a high-quality 2880 x 1840 pixel resolution IPS panel with a variable refresh rate that can range from 30Hz to an impressive 144Hz, adapting to the demands of various tasks. Additionally, it boasts IMAX-Enhanced technology, similar to the Magic V2.

Complementing the sizable display are eight speakers arranged in a stereo setup and four microphones, enhancing voice clarity during video calls, along with a 9-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, you’ll find a 13-megapixel camera for capturing moments with ease.

The HONOR MagicPad 13 is also noteworthy as it marks the brand’s first tablet powered by MagicOS 7.2, a software offering that includes productivity-focused applications like HONOR Docs and HONOR Notes.

Driving its performance is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor, which can be coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample space for all your files.

The tablet supports the HONOR Magic Pencil 3, equipped with 4096 pressure levels, making it perfect for creative endeavors. Additionally, it is compatible with HONOR’s keyboard case, providing a seamless typing experience. Furthermore, it boasts a generous 10,050mAh battery with 66W fast charging capabilities, keeping you productive without worrying about battery life.

The HONOR MagicPad 13 is priced at CNY2,999 (~Php22,800) for the 8GB/256GB variant, CNY3,299 (~Php25,000) for the 12GB/256GB variant, and CNY3,699 (~Php28,100) for the 16GB/512GB variant. The Magic Pencil 3 can be purchased separately for CNY499 (~Php3,800), while the keyboard case is available for CNY599 (~Php4,500). The tablet will be initially released in China on July 20, with details regarding its availability in other markets yet to be announced.
