‘Undas 2023’: Traffic Advisory Released by Parañaque City Government

Parañaque Traffic and Parking Management Office (TPMO) Prepares for Smooth Traffic during “Undas 2023”

The Parañaque Traffic and Parking Management Office (TPMO) has issued a traffic advisory aimed at ensuring a smooth flow of traffic during the observance of “Undas 2023,” according to an announcement made on Friday, October 27.

Under the supervision of Reynaldo Murillo, the TPMO will be responsible for managing the traffic in both public and private cemeteries within the city from October 28 until November 2, as stated by Paranaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez.

As part of their traffic management plan, the TPMO will implement a two-way traffic scheme at the Manila Memorial Park. This will assist visitors with vehicles as they enter and leave the cemetery. Mayor Olivarez stated that one lane will be designated for motorists passing through the area, ensuring a smoother and more efficient traffic flow.

Furthermore, the TPMO will temporarily close the stretch of A. Bonifacio to accommodate motorists who will be visiting the Himlayang Palanyag. This closure will be in effect from October 28 to November 2, further demonstrating the city’s commitment to ensuring convenient and safe travel for all visitors during the period.

To further enhance their efforts in managing the expected increase in traffic flow, Mayor Olivarez announced the deployment of additional TPMO traffic enforcers. These enforcers will work diligently to maintain order and ensure the smooth flow of traffic throughout the city.

With these proactive measures in place, Parañaque City aims to provide a hassle-free travel experience for all those participating in “Undas 2023” and paying their respects to their loved ones. The TPMO, under the guidance of Reynaldo Murillo, is ready to tackle any traffic challenges that may arise during this period, prioritizing the convenience and safety of the public.
