Top Taiwan LPGA stars compete in the ICTSI Luisita International golf tournament



Yu-Ju Chen headlines a strong roster of competitors from the LPGA of Taiwan (TLPGA) poised to participate in the ICTSI Luisita Ladies International 2024. The tournament, which kicks off on Tuesday, April 23 at the challenging Luisita Golf and Country Club in Tarlac, will see Chen, ranked No. 2 in the TLPGA, showcasing her talents against a field of 80 players.

The tournament, with a prize money of $100,000, is set to test the skills of elite players and emerging talents on the tight and hazard-laden par-72 layout inside Hacienda Luisita. Apart from Chen, other Taiwanese players like Jo Hua Hung, Yi-Tsen Chou, and Chih Yun Wu are also ready to compete. Joining them are top players from Thailand, Japan, India, and the Philippines.

Local favorites such as Harmie Constantino, winner of the last two legs of the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour (LPGT), and Daniella Uy, last year’s LPGT Order of Merit winner, are geared up for the tournament. Other local players expected to make a splash include Princess Superal, Chanelle Avaricio, and Chihiro Ikeda.

The competition also features promising young talents, ensuring an exciting and highly competitive tournament. The event, organized by Pilipinas Golf Tournaments Inc., promises fierce competition and top-notch golfing action.
