Netflix’s live action series “One Piece” has maintained its popularity, securing the top spot on the platform’s weekly Global Top 10 list for the second consecutive week. The show, which premiered on August 31, garnered 19.3 million views and topped Netflix’s weekly English TV list for the week of September 4 to 10. This number exceeded the 18.5 million views it received when it debuted at No. 1 on the chart from August 28 to September 3.
“One Piece” is an adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga and features a star-studded cast including Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Other notable actors include Vincent Regan, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Morgan Davies, Aidan Scott, Langley Kirkwood, Jeff Ward, Celeste Loots, Alexander Maniatis, McKinley Belcher III, Craig Fairbrass, Steven Ward, Chioma Umeala, and Michael Dorman.
In addition to “One Piece,” the Korean drama “A Time Called You” debuted at No. 7 on Netflix’s non-English TV list with 1.4 million views for the week. The Korean series “Destined with You” secured the No. 4 spot with 2.4 million views, while “Mask Girl” came in at No. 5 with 1.7 million views.
