Actress LJ Reyes Teases Fans with Photo of Wedding Gown
Fans of actress LJ Reyes were in for a treat when she recently shared a photo of herself wearing a wedding gown. After announcing her engagement earlier this year, the actress gave her followers a sneak peek into her wedding preparations. Although no specific details about the upcoming ceremony have been disclosed, fans were thrilled to see LJ adorned in white.
In August, LJ delighted her fans with prenuptial photos of herself and her fiancé, Philip Evangelista, taken in New York. It was in May when LJ first announced her engagement to her non-showbiz partner. Since then, the couple has been making preparations for their big day.
In September 2021, LJ moved to New York with her children, Aki and Summer, following her highly publicized breakup with actor Paolo Contis. LJ and Paolo had separated after being together for six years. In a recent interview with “24 Oras,” LJ was asked about her readiness to forgive Paolo.
She shared, “Forgiveness is not easy to give, is it? We all get hurt, we get angry, but you work on it every day. To forgive people, to forgive yourself, or whoever. You pray about it. For me, it is not an easy thing to give. So, just surrender to God, and I’m working on it.”
The breakup between LJ and Paolo happened after Paolo was involved in rumors of having a relationship with his co-star Yen Santos while shooting their film “Faraway Land” in Baguio. However, Paolo clarified in an interview with Boy Abunda that Yen Santos was not a third party to their relationship. He explained that he and LJ were no longer together when he was in Baguio with Yen for filming.
“When Yen and I went to Baguio, LJ was already in the states. It seemed the other way around, because your interview with LJ came out, we were no longer in Baguio then. So, people feel while interviewing LJ, I was in Baguio. But when you were interviewing LJ, they had already been in the States for at least ten days. I left for Baguio, and they were already in the states,” Paolo clarified.
