Petro Gazz Dominates PNVF Champions League with Stunning Sweep of Cignal

In a surprising turn of events, Petro Gazz emerged as the victor in the PNVF Champions League after a stunning 25-19, 27-25, 25-22 sweep of previously undefeated Cignal in the finale held at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

Filipino-American sensation Brooke Van Sickle led the charge for Petro Gazz with 20 points and was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) plum. The team, under the guidance of Japanese head coach Koji Tsuzurabara, showcased their revamped roster and secured a well-deserved victory.

Jonah Sabete, named Second Best Open Hitter, contributed 18 points to the team’s success, while Remy Palma and Kecelyn Galdones added seven points each in the balanced attack.

In the bronze medal match, Chery Tiggo secured a podium finish after defeating St. Benilde in three sets, 25-20, 25-13, 25-13, signaling a new era for the team.
