In pursuit to the realization of the whole-of-nation approach in ending local communist armed conflict in Bukidnon, various agencies from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bukidnon, Department of Agriculture Region 10 (DA – 10), and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 1st District Engineering Office, conducted a joint validation for the proposed road projects at the selected barangays in the Municipality of Cabanglasan.
The validation is in preparation for the implementation of the NTF-ELCAC projects in the province for FY 2023. Further, it ensures that the projects to be carried out in the five (5) barangays of the said Municipality; namely, the barangays of Mandaing, Cabulohan, Paradise, Capinonan, and Lambagan, are Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) projects.
The barangay levelling sessions also highlight the importance of community participation in building peaceful and orderly barangays and the role of barangay officials who are at the forefront of government programs at the grassroots level.
