Lovi Poe and Monty Blencowe Tie the Knot in Romantic English Wedding
Filipino actress Lovi Poe and her long-time British producer boyfriend Montey Blencowe have officially become husband and wife. The couple exchanged vows during a romantic garden wedding at Cliveden House in Berkshire, England on Saturday afternoon, August 26.
“I have found the one who makes my soul sing,” Lovi shared moments before the wedding.
Among the attendees were the couple’s family and friends, including Senator Grace Poe, Lovi’s half-sister, celebrity doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, and producer-talent manager Leo Dominguez.
Lovi and Monty announced their engagement on social media on August 8, posting a clip of Lovi wearing a ring near a beach. The couple had been in a long-distance relationship, with Lovi based in Manila and Monty residing in Los Angeles. Despite the distance, they expressed their happiness.
Currently, Lovi stars in the popular Kapamilya primetime series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” where she plays the love interest of Coco Martin’s character, Tanggol.
Prior to the wedding, Lovi shared details of their meet-cute in Hollywood and the proposal in the digital cover of Metro magazine. The Metro cover shoot, which was kept under wraps for months, added to the surreal feeling of the upcoming nuptials. Lovi admitted feeling nervous yet excited about the wedding.
The venue, Cliveden House, provided a picturesque backdrop for the joyous occasion. Lovi and Monty expressed their gratitude to their loved ones for joining them in their special day.
