K-pop idol and actor Park Ji-hoon is set to make an appearance at the Korea Travel Fiesta 2023 in the Philippines. The event, which is organized by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Manila office, will also feature the Korea MICE Road Show and will take place from September 1 to 3.

The Korea Travel Fiesta 2023 is a travel sale and showcase event that aims to promote Korean tourism and culture. It will be held at the Glorietta Activity Center and Palm Drive Activity Center in Makati City from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission to the event is free.

Former Wanna One member Park Ji-hoon will be attending the event on September 3, along with Kyline Alcantara, who is the honorary ambassador of Korea tourism in the Philippines. The two K-pop stars will be part of the festivities to encourage more Filipinos to visit Korea.

In addition to the celebrity appearances, the Welcome Daehakro 2023 performance teams, Jump and Doodle Pop, will be showcasing their talents at the event.

The Korea Travel Fiesta 2023 is hosted by the KTO Manila office in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines and the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines. The event is held in support of the “Visit Korea Year 2023-2024” campaign launched by the Korean government to attract more tourists from the Philippines.

The Philippines ranks third among ASEAN countries in terms of the number of visitors to South Korea. To further entice Filipino travelers, the event will offer great deals from airlines and travel agencies, especially for BPI credit and debit cardholders. Installment plans will also be available, and exclusive promos will be offered during the event.

Attendees can look forward to giveaways and prizes, including gadgets from Samsung and round-trip tickets to Korea from various airlines such as Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Jeju Air, Cebu Pacific, and Philippine AirAsia. Exciting raffle prizes will be up for grabs, providing participants a chance to win these amazing rewards.

Before the travel fair, travel partners in the Philippines will have the opportunity to learn more about Korea’s major travel destinations through a MICE seminar organized by KTO Manila. The seminar will take place on September 1 at the New World Makati Hotel.

The roadshow and travel fair coincide with the upcoming celebration of Chuseok, also known as Korean Thanksgiving Day, which will be observed at the end of the month. It is expected that the event will attract a large number of attendees who are interested in experiencing the beauty and culture of Korea.
