K-pop sensations TAN kick off mall show in the Philippines: ‘Feels like a homecoming’

K-pop Boy Band TAN Delights Filipino Fans with Mall Show

On September 8, the popular K-pop idol group TAN (To All Nations) captivated audiences at their mall show in the Philippines. Comprised of members Changsun, Jiseong, Sunghyuk, Taehoon, Hyunyeop, Jooan, and Jaejun, TAN returned to the country for the second time as part of their promotional tour.

The mall show took place at the Market! Market! Activity Center in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The group showcased their talents and entertained fans with their energetic performances.

Following their successful performance, TAN is set to enchant fans with another show at the TriNoma Activity Center on September 9. They will then continue their mall tour with a performance at SM City CDO Downtown in Cagayan de Oro on September 10.

Prior to their mall show, TAN had arrived in the Philippines last week and made appearances on various TV shows to promote their music. During a press conference, the members of TAN expressed their joy and gratitude for returning to the country.

Taehoon, one of the members, shared, “Being one of the important countries when it comes to Hallyu (Korean Wave), we want to leave our mark here in the Philippines and go to other countries as well.” Jooan added, “Being back here in the Philippines feels like home, and we really wanted to come earlier.”

TAN unveiled their third mini-album, “TAN Made,” on August 11. The album showcases the group’s talent in composing and writing lyrics. Jooan mentioned, “We personally composed and wrote the lyrics for this album. The message of the album is to have self-confidence and love ourselves as well. We gave our best efforts for this.”

What sets TAN apart from other idol groups is their involvement in the production process. Jaejun explained, “I think that there are many idols who participate in writing the lyrics of their songs. But I think there are not many idol groups who actually produce their songs. I think TAN is one of those groups that can produce their own songs or albums.”

TAN’s journey to success began through the survival audition program “Wild Idol,” with members selected based on their mental and physical abilities. Changsun highlighted, “It’s not just a simple survival audition program but it also tested our mental and physical abilities.” He emphasized that the seven members who survived the show and debuted in TAN have a strong mindset and physical abilities.

The mall tour is presented by Universal Records Philippines, SBTown, and Think Entertainment, with Kumu providing support as well. Ayala Malls Trinoma, Ayala Malls Market! Market!, and SM CDO serve as the official venue partners for the tour.

TAN’s visit to the Philippines undoubtedly brings joy to their dedicated fans, as they continue to make waves in the K-pop industry.
