Cignal HD Spikers Dominates Galeries Tower in Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference
In a thrilling match at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City, Cignal HD Spikers unleashed their explosive offense to defeat Galeries Tower with a score of 25-17, 25-17, 24-26, 25-11 in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday night, Nov. 7.
The HD Spikers had four players scoring in double figures, with skipper Ces Molina leading the pack with 17 points and Vanie Gandler contributing 14 points on attacks. Jovelyn Gonzaga also came through with 12 points, and Roselyn Doria added 11 points, resulting in a total of 59 kills against Galeries Tower’s 39.
This victory improved the HD Spikers’ standing at 4-2 in the league, while Galeries Tower suffered their fifth straight defeat in as many outings.
Despite Ysabel Jimenez’s impressive combined 25 points for Galeries Tower, it was not enough to overcome the powerhouse offense of the Cignal HD Spikers. The match ended with Cignal celebrating their fourth win over Galeries Tower.
With this win, Cignal HD Spikers have solidified their position in the middle standings of the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.
