Reigning national beauty titlists Gwendolyne Fourniol and Michelle Arceo will be celebrating Father’s Day away from their dads, but that won’t stop them from expressing their gratitude for the most important men in their lives.
Fourniol, the reigning Miss World Philippines, shared that her father, Thierry, is currently working for the government in Belgium, so she will have to rely on technology to celebrate and share her greetings.
Arceo, who finished as the second runner-up in the 2023 Reina Hispanoamericana pageant in Bolivia, is also living away from her dad, Michael Cain. Despite the distance, both women expressed their appreciation for their fathers.
Fourniol expressed her gratitude for her father’s lessons in strength, resilience, and independence. Arceo, on the other hand, credited her dad for raising her and teaching her valuable life skills.
The two beauty queens plan to call their fathers on Father’s Day to convey their love and appreciation. Both ladies expressed their feelings and sentiments towards their dads, highlighting the impact their fathers have had on their lives.
Fourniol and Arceo will crown their successors at the culmination of the 2024 Miss World Philippines pageant, scheduled to take place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on July 19. Additionally, the Miss Philippines Tourism title is also up for grabs in the competition.
