Actress Patricia Javier has shifted her focus towards raising her children and assisting her husband in managing their businesses, although she still accepts acting projects. In a recent group interview, she mentioned that a compelling dramatic role could bring her back to acting more passionately, especially if it leads to an award-winning performance.
Currently, Javier is dedicated to overseeing the six chiropractic and wellness clinics owned by her and her husband, Robert Walcher III. She expressed her interest in returning to acting once everything falls into place. Her last appearance was in the GMA 7 anthology “Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko” in 2020.
Additionally, Javier revealed that she has retired from pageantry, despite the Miss Universe pageant now being open to mothers and married women. She remains content with her title as Noble Queen of the Universe, which she won in 2019.
Flexing her parenting skills, Javier is nurturing her sons’ interests in the entertainment industry. Her eldest son, Robert Walcher IV, ventured into pageantry and clinched the title of Mister Teen International in Bangkok, Thailand. Her younger son, Ryan, is also showing a potential interest in performing.
Javier and her husband are supportive of their children’s pursuits, exposing them to various opportunities like the Bangkok Kids International Fashion Week. Robert III, who has also dabbled in show business with roles in movies and TV series, emphasized the importance of camaraderie with coworkers for his children.
When asked about advice for her children, Javier highlighted the significance of kindness towards others, a trait she learned from her mother. For their successful 18-year marriage, she stressed the importance of shared goals and having God at the center of their relationship.
Maintaining a light-hearted tone, Javier joked about not being too possessive when married to someone good-looking, humorously suggesting that separation may occur.
