A new holiday action film titled “Red One” has released its first official trailer, featuring a star-studded cast including Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, and J.K. Simmons as Santa Claus. The trailer showcases Johnson’s character, Callum Drift, head of North Pole security, as he embarks on a mission to save Santa after he is taken. Lucy Liu’s character, Jacqueline Frost, recommends enlisting the help of bounty hunter Jack O’Malley, played by Evans.
The trailer teases action-packed scenes, including a visit to the toy store where Callum resizes a Hot Wheels car to a life-size vehicle and a warning from Jacqueline about the possibility of no Christmas. The film also stars Kiernan Shipka, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Jenna Kannell, Wesley Kimmel and Nick Kroll, and is directed by Jake Kasdan.
“Red One” is set to premiere in Philippine theaters on November 13, perfect timing for the country’s Christmas season. Fans can expect a mix of action, comedy, and Christmas cheer in this highly anticipated film.
