tvN Launches Two New TV Channels in the Philippines in Collaboration with Cignal TV

tvN, a popular Korean entertainment network, has announced the launch of two new TV channels in the Philippines in partnership with Cignal TV, the leading pay TV provider in the country. The new channels, tvN Movies Pinoy and tvN Premium, bring a wide range of Korean films and dramas to Filipino audiences.

tvN Movies Pinoy is a Tagalog-dubbed channel that offers a variety of Korean movies, featuring popular stars such as Hyun-bin, Son Ye-jin, D.O., Don Lee, and many more. The channel aims to cater to the diverse tastes and preferences of Filipino viewers, with genres ranging from romantic dramas to action-packed hits and heartwarming comedies.

The channel will also feature the latest Korean films of 2023, including “My Puppy,” “Countdown,” “My Worst Neighbour,” and “The Glorious My Revenge.” In addition to tvN Movies Pinoy, tvN Premium will also be available to Cignal subscribers, offering the latest Korean dramas such as “Not Others,” based on a popular webtoon and starring Jeon Hye-jin, Sooyoung, Ahn Jae-wook, and Park Sung-hoon.

Furthermore, tvN Movies Pinoy will be available on Cignal TV’s streaming platform, Cignal Play, providing viewers with access to Video-on-Demand (VOD) content.

In addition to the new channel launches, viewers can look forward to catching the action thriller “The Moon” in December, featuring superstar D.O. (EXO) as an astronaut attempting to land on the moon. Pinoy fans can also enjoy the comedy “Switch,” starring A-list Korean actors Kwon Sang-woo and Lee Min-jung.

Mickey Ong, Senior Vice President of CJ ENM Hong Kong, expressed gratitude for the partnership with Cignal TV, stating, “Movies are favorites among Filipinos. Consistent with our commitment to give Cignal subscribers the best options to choose from, this partnership allows us to offer them the latest Korean shows and the best Korean films in Filipino.” For Cignal subscribers, tvN Movies Pinoy can now be found on channel 39, while tvN Premium replaces tvN Asia on channel 237.
