Premier Volleyball League games resume on Saturday
On Saturday, the Smart Araneta Coliseum will host three exciting matches in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference. The day will start with Chery Tiggo taking on Strong Group Athletics, followed by Cignal facing off against Akari, and finally Creamline battling it out with Farm Fresh.
Chery Tiggo, meanwhile, will be seeking to capture the top spot in the standings as they face off against Strong Group Athletics. Defending champion Creamline, as well as title contender Cignal, will also be looking to cement their positions in the league with their respective matches against Farm Fresh and Akari.
In their last game, the Crossovers secured a dominant win over the Capital1 Solar Spikers, with Ara Galang and Mylene Paat leading the way with 12 and 11 points, respectively. Although the team currently awaits the return of Jasmine Nabor, coach Kungfu Reyes expressed confidence in the potential of his players against SGA.
The highly-anticipated match between Cignal and Akari will see the former parading new recruits, Grethcel Soltones and Ced Domingo, while the latter boasts a stacked roster led by Dindin Santiago Manabat, Faith Nisperos, Fifi Sharma, Bang Pineda, and Michelle Cobb.
This Saturday’s games are expected to be filled with intense action and thrilling volleyball matches.
