National Crime Prevention Week

28th National Crime Prevention Week (NCPW) Celebration

Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 461, dated August 31, 1994, first week of September of every year is declared as the National Crime Prevention Week.

This is in line with the goals of promoting community involvement and participation in crime prevention. As such, the week-long celebration aims to build public commitment and participation in activities that effectively deter commission of crimes.

With this year’s theme “𝘚𝘢 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘕𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭: 𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘯 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯, 𝘒𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘺 𝘏𝘢𝘥𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯 𝘛𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘒𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯”, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) 10 is one with its partner agencies in promoting peace and order in the Region.
