Ueshima Coffee Co. Ltd. (UCC) Holdings Japan, a global integrated coffee business, recently inaugurated the state-of-the-art showroom and headquarters of Allegro Beverage Corp in Mandaluyong City. Allegro Beverage, one of the leading distributors of coffee machines in the Philippines, joined the UCC family in 2017. During the event, Allegro Beverage CEO Yasmin A. Vasquez announced plans to open branches in Albay and Palawan in the coming months. The company currently has branches in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, and Pampanga, as well as dealerships in various provinces.
UCC Philippines President and CEO Hubert Young stated that the addition of Allegro Beverage to the UCC Group enhances their operations as they cover the entire coffee value chain, from farm to cup. Young emphasized UCC’s commitment to promoting sustainable practices and supporting coffee communities worldwide. He revealed that UCC aims to source 100% sustainably produced coffee for all its brands by 2030. With the addition of Allegro Beverage, UCC Philippines aims to cater to the needs of the coffee community and make a positive impact on individuals, society, and the environment.
The new Allegro Beverage showroom features renowned coffee machine brands from different countries. It also includes a service center for coffee machine maintenance. In addition to coffee machines, Allegro Beverage offers a range of products such as sauces, syrups, teas, oat milk, and top-quality coffee roasted by UCC. The company’s corporate clients, including hotels, franchise chains, culinary and educational institutions, restaurants, and cafés, will have access to an expanded range of coffee solutions and innovations. Vasquez expressed her excitement about the new showroom and service center, as well as the company’s new branding. She stated that Allegro Beverage is prepared to be a strategic partner for brewing new opportunities. The branches in Albay and Palawan will be opened in collaboration with dealers who will carry Allegro products under their own brands.
