“Success Stories of Women Entrepreneurs in Taytay, Rizal Featured in ‘My Puhunan'”

Three women entrepreneurs in the “Garments Capital of the Philippines,” Taytay, Rizal, will be featured in an upcoming episode of “My Puhunan” this Saturday (Dec. 16). Karen Davila will showcase the inspiring stories of Erika Duran, Dolores Munar, and Nancy Andres, who have built thriving businesses making and selling low-cost clothing in Taytay.

Erika Duran, who started with only P500 capital for fabrics, is now the owner of a salon and restaurant. Dolores Munar, who was originally a reseller, now creates her own clothing for kids. Nancy Andres, a frequent shopper in Taytay, sells locally and internationally sourced garments in her stall in Baclaran.

In addition to the stories from Taytay, Migs Bustos will also chat with Ghie Pangilinan, who will share how she built her milk tea shop, “Tea Talk,” from scratch. Viewers will learn about the opportunity to become franchisees of a “Tea Talk” restaurant or kiosk-type store with a business model and an affordable starting capital.
