Sharon Cuneta reminisces about hitting her first million and billion milestones

Celebrity Sharon Cuneta reveals the milestones in her wealth journey during an interview. She shared that she made her first million in Philippine pesos at the age of 15 or 16, thanks to her successful career in singing and acting. Cuneta credited her dad for negotiating her talent fee for her first movie, which earned her the hefty sum.

She also disclosed that she purchased her first house when she was 27 or 28, paying off a five-year loan in just three years. Additionally, Cuneta achieved her first million dollars at around 24 and set a goal to become a billionaire by the age of 30, which she successfully accomplished in her early to mid-30s.

Cuneta attributed her financial success to her father, who taught her how to manage and grow her money. She emphasized the importance of listening and learning to continuously expand her wealth.

The interview took place as she celebrated the fifth anniversary of the “Sheroes” campaign by Filipino insurance company InLife, where she serves as the endorser. The program aims to empower women in the Philippines, particularly women entrepreneurs, through financial literacy, health and wellness initiatives, women-specific solutions, and networking opportunities.

As part of the anniversary celebration, the Sheroes Awards Program was launched to recognize Filipino women who exemplify the program’s values. Nominations are open until August 15, 2024, and details can be found on the program’s website.

The event concluded with an awards ceremony at the Manila Peninsula’s Rigodon Ballroom, honoring outstanding women in different fields.
