A special 3-in-1 session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum is set to take place on Tuesday, June 11, with the Philippine boxing team bound for the Paris Olympics headlining the event at the conference hall of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
Olympians Nesthy Petecio, Aira Villegas, and Hergie Bacyadan will be joined by national team coaches Ronald Chavez, Reynaldo Galido, and Don Abnett to discuss the Filipino boxers’ upcoming campaign in the Paris Games. Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines (ABAP) secretary general Marcus Manalo will also be in attendance.
The session will kick off at 10 a.m. and will also feature sports commissioner Fritz Gaston talking about the PSC Invitational Friendship Golf Cup happening this weekend. Additionally, the men behind the Perlas ng Silangan Basketball League, including founder Christian Ensomo, co-founder Nato Agbayani, and consultant Rudy Aquino, will be part of the event.
The Forum is presented by San Miguel Corporation, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, Smart/PLDT, MILO, and ArenaPlus. The session will be livestreamed on the PSA Facebook page and aired on a delayed basis on Radyo Pilipinas 2, with highlights shared on its official Facebook page as well.
