Prices of Diesel and Kerosene Increase in Third Week of May



Oil prices are set to have mixed adjustments in pump prices on Tuesday, May 21. This will mark the third consecutive week of gasoline prices having a rollback with a decrease of P0.10 per liter.

CleanFuel, Caltex, SeaOil, and Shell have all announced their price adjustments for Tuesday. Diesel prices will increase by P0.25 per liter, while kerosene prices will go up by P0.30 per liter.

Last week, oil companies lowered pump prices, with diesel prices decreasing by P0.50 per liter and gasoline prices increasing by P2 per liter. Kerosene prices also saw a drop of P0.85 per liter.

SeaOil, Caltex, and Shell’s price adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, while CleanFuel’s adjustments will be implemented at 4:01 p.m. on the same day. Other oil firms have yet to announce their price adjustments.
