Manila – Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach was awarded the Global Fashion Influencer of the Year at the 2024 Emigala Fashion and Beauty Awards in a glittering ceremony in Dubai. The event, titled “Glitz & Glamour: A Celebration of Fashion and Beauty,” took place on April 28 at Festival Bay Arena By Intercontinental, Dubai Festival City.
The star-studded ceremony was attended by prominent figures in the world of fashion and entertainment from the Arab world and beyond. The event paid tribute to the late musical icon Michael Jackson.
During her acceptance speech, the stunning Filipina-German actress-model, dressed in Michael Cinco couture, expressed her gratitude for the award and highlighted the power of influence in today’s digital age. Wurtzbach emphasized the importance of using one’s platform for a purpose and encouraged others to find their passion and make a positive impact.
