PCG Formally Received Almost 800 Newest Coast Guardians! 🇵🇭

The Regional Training Center Misamis Oriental conducted the graduation ceremony of the 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 (𝗖𝗚𝗡𝗢𝗖) 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝟵𝟰 – 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 “𝗠𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗞” composed of 757 trainees. The graduates are now fully committed to embracing the uniformed, armed, seagoing, and humanitarian service of the country after successfully finishing their rigid training and academic sessions at the PCG Regional Training Center Misamis Oriental on 10 May 2023.

Gracing the ceremony was 𝐏𝐂𝐆 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐎 𝐀𝐁𝐔 who congratulated the graduates and urged them to become role models to the young generation, especially those who envision to join the humanitarian armed service in the future.

The PCG Commandant also reminded the graduates that they are now part of the Coast Guard service, not for the sake of personal gain through salary, but for the sake of the Motherland through valuable public service.

Out of 767 trainees of CGNOC Class 94-2022 “MABITALAK” who were convened on 04 November 2022, only 757 finished the basic entry course under their Course Director, CG Raymund Jamews N Torremonia along with Tactical Officers, Petty Officers, Drill Instructors, and Training Staff.

Also present during the graduation ceremony were CG REAR ADMIRAL EUSTACIO NIMROD ENRIQUEZ JR, Commander of the Coast Guard Education, Training, and Doctrine Command; CG COMMODORE GERONIMO B TUVILLA, Commander of the Coast Guard District Northern Mindanao; and CG CAPTAIN JEROME T CAYABYAB DSC Superintendent of Coast Guard Non-Officers’ School.

Health assessments and safety protocols were strictly implemented during the activity in adherence to the IATF minimum protocols.
