Paolo Contis expresses happiness for ex-partner LJ Reyes’ upcoming marriage
Actor-TV host Paolo Contis recently shared his thoughts on the news that his former partner, actress LJ Reyes, is set to tie the knot with her non-showbiz boyfriend, Philip Evangelista. Paolo expressed his happiness for LJ and stated that everyone deserves to find love. During a look-test session for his upcoming film “Fuchsia Libre” with co-star John Arcilla, Paolo spoke to reporters about his feelings regarding LJ’s upcoming marriage.
Paolo and LJ ended their relationship in August 2021 and have a daughter named Summer together. Paolo also has two other daughters with former dancer Lian Paz named Xonia and Xalene. When asked about allegations of not providing financial support to his children, Paolo defended himself by stating that he prefers to keep his personal life private. He explained that he doesn’t feel the need to post everything on social media and believes that his actions speak louder than words.
Paolo also talked about his relationship with actress Yen Santos and his decision to keep it private. He shared that he doesn’t want to subject Yen to criticism and believes that it’s better to maintain their privacy for now. When asked about settling down, Paolo expressed that it will happen when everything is in place and that he wants to ensure fairness to all parties involved, including Yen.
Paolo admitted that the period between his public separation from LJ and his admission of dating Yen had been difficult. However, he remains grateful for the support he received and believes that people in the industry value his work more than his personal problems. Paolo is currently busy with his hosting duties on “Eat Bulaga” and “Bubble Gang,” as well as shooting the drama-comedy film “Fuchsia Libre,” where he plays a gay character. The film is set to be released later this year.
