Veteran Actor and Director Found Lifeless in His Apartment
In a recent report by a showbiz columnist, it was revealed that actor and director Manny Castañeda was found lifeless in his apartment after three days. The news has left the gay community mourning for the loss of Manny, who passed away alone.
According to ABS-CBN News, Manny succumbed to Congenital Heart Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, and Hypertension. His body was discovered by his nephew Michael when a tenant went up to Manny’s unit to pay rent but received no response. Michael’s parents were then informed and found Manny deceased.
Manny’s funeral service will be held at the Sanctuarium Crematory in Quezon City. Throughout his career, Manny was known for his roles in films such as “Oro Plata Mata,” “Relasyon,” and “Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas.” He also directed several movies including “Guwapings Dos” and “Shame.”
The entertainment industry has lost a talented individual in Manny Castañeda, and his contributions to Philippine cinema will always be remembered.
