LA Tenorio and Eya Laure Highlight the Significance of Sports Camps



In a recent event this weekend, basketball icon LA Tenorio and volleyball star Eya Laure returned to their roots by participating in the launching of a barangay sports grassroots program. Gatorade introduced their “Fueled Liga” program on Saturday, with Tenorio and Laure making an appearance at the event. Both athletes engaged with children aged 10 and above, participating in basketball and volleyball drills.

Tenorio expressed his gratitude for being part of the program, reminiscing about his own experiences as a young basketball enthusiast lining up to attend camps. Laure also shared her past involvement in volleyball clinics and expressed her joy in inspiring the next generation of athletes.

The Chery Tiggo Crossover emphasized the importance of community sports programs in fostering teamwork and leadership skills among children. From March to July, 150 communities in Luzon will be participating in Gatorade’s program, aiming to promote growth and development through sports.
