Kathryn opens up about mixed emotions on reuniting with Alden: ‘We’ve all changed’



Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards are set to reunite in the upcoming sequel to their hit film “Hello, Love, Goodbye.” Titled “Hello, Love, Again,” the movie will continue the story of Joy and Ethan, two overseas Filipino workers who fell in love in Hong Kong. Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the film is scheduled for release on Nov. 13 in local cinemas, with international releases to follow.

During the project announcement, Kathryn expressed her excitement and nervousness about reprising her role after five years. She shared her curiosity about how the characters have evolved and thanked the production outfits for the opportunity to continue their story in a new setting.

The teaser trailer for the film was also premiered, showing Joy and Ethan meeting again against a snowy backdrop. Behind the scenes, Kathryn described the mix of excitement and nerves as they prepared to embody their characters once more.

The film’s writer, Carmi Raymundo, shared that the idea for a sequel had been brewing since the release of the first film. With the story set in Canada this time, the team aims to explore new aspects of Joy and Ethan’s journey.

ABS-CBN Films head Kriz Gazmen emphasized the importance of telling Filipino stories, while expressing confidence in the team’s ability to deliver a compelling sequel. Collaborating with GMA Pictures, the production is expected to be a fruitful partnership that will make history once again.

GMA Pictures executive Annette Gozon-Valdes echoed Gazmen’s sentiments and expressed her excitement for the collaboration. With both production outfits coming together for the project, she anticipates a successful endeavor and looks forward to more collaborations in the future.
