Iza Calzado Celebrates her First Birthday as a Mother
Iza Calzado, the award-winning actress, recently celebrated her 41st birthday with her husband, Ben Wintle, and their baby girl, Deia Amihan. Calzado shared a family photo on Instagram, recreating a picture they took a year ago. The only difference between the two photos was the addition of their now almost seven-month-old daughter.
Calzado previously shared the photo from last year when she announced her pregnancy on her 40th birthday. In her birthday post, she expressed her joy in spending her special day with her daughter, stating that she never thought she would care more about someone else on her birthday.
Wintle also took to Instagram to share his appreciation for his wife on her birthday. He uploaded a video of Calzado dancing with her brother, Dash, proving that dancing prowess runs in the family. He left a sweet message for his “terrific” wife, saying that he and their daughter are proud of her.
Calzado celebrated her birthday by dancing with her family and friends, as seen in a video uploaded by entrepreneur Cristalle Belo. They danced and sang the Happy Birthday song to Calzado while she held her daughter. She also received greetings from former co-stars and friends, including Bea Alonzo, Jodi Sta. Maria, Dingdong Dantes, and Carmi Martin.
Calzado has been sharing milestones of her daughter, Deia, with her followers on social media. In a recent post, she told her baby daughter, “Progress not perfection, anak. Always remember this. In our eyes, you are amazing!”
