Cool Smashers dominate opponents from SGA



In yesterday’s Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference game at the PhilSports Arena, the Cool Smashers secured a dominant victory over Strong Group Athletics with a score of 25-13, 25-13, 25-19.

The Cool Smashers made some changes to their lineup, starting Bea de Leon, Pau Soriano, and Michele Gumabao, who all made significant contributions to the team’s success. Bernadeth Pons led the scoring with 12 points, followed by Alyssa Valdez with nine points.

Creamline coach Sherwin Meneses commended the players for their performance, emphasizing the importance of hard work and focus. Pons echoed the sentiment, noting the team’s determination to avoid complacency.

The win over Strong Group Athletics gave Creamline a solo lead with a record of four consecutive wins, setting them up with confidence to face former champions Chery Tiggo in their upcoming match.

Meneses expressed optimism about the team’s preparation, stating that the victory provided a significant boost and time to analyze their next opponent’s strengths and weaknesses before the game on Saturday.
