P-pop group BINI has taken over as the top artist on Spotify Philippines, dethroning the likes of Taylor Swift. The group expressed their gratitude to their fans for this achievement during an interview after being unveiled as the new Jollibee endorsers.
“Siyempre thank you po sa mga listeners namin,” said Joanna, one of the members of BINI. “Even me, avid fan po ako ni Taylor Swift. Parang, alam mo ‘yon, two worlds collided so maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng nakikinig sa amin.”
Star Music also took to social media to announce BINI’s success, declaring them as the “NUMBER ONE NA ANG NAG-IISANG NATION’S GIRL GROUP!” This milestone marks the first time a Filipino act has reached the #1 spot on the Spotify Philippines Daily Top Artists Chart.
As news of their achievement spread, thousands of fans flocked to Puregold Qi Central to secure tickets for the upcoming “Nasa Atin ang Panalo” Thanksgiving Concert. The concert, scheduled for July 12 at Araneta Coliseum, will feature BINI, P-Pop boy band SB19, rapper Flow G, and popular band SunKissed Lola.
The overwhelming response and long lines at the ticket selling event reflect the fans’ enthusiasm for the upcoming concert, which aims to showcase Filipino talent and celebrate the success stories behind phenomenal Pinoy music. The event is part of Puregold’s celebration of reaching 500 stores on its 25th year.
