Beermen aim to secure victory as Bolts set sights on 3-1 advantage

The San Miguel Beermen are on the brink of sending Rain or Shine to elimination after a road victory in Game 3 of the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals. Coach Yeng Guiao and his team are facing a must-win Game 4 to avoid a sweep at the MOA Arena tonight.

Despite the odds stacked against them, Guiao remains determined to keep the Elasto Painters alive in the series. The Beermen have history on their side, with statistics showing that teams with a 3-0 lead usually go on to win the series.

The tension between Guiao and SMB guard Terrence Romeo adds an extra layer of drama to the matchup. Guiao expressed his disappointment with Romeo’s late-game actions in the previous game, emphasizing the need for respect on the court.

In the earlier game, Meralco will try to secure their third consecutive victory against Ginebra and move closer to a spot in the finals. After dropping the series opener, the Bolts have rallied back to take the lead behind strong performances from their players.

Both games promise intense action and high stakes as the teams battle for survival in the semifinals.
