Three van passengers killed, eight injured in Quezon road accident.



Three van passengers were killed and eight others were injured in a tragic road accident that occurred on Sunday morning in Quezon province. The incident involved two vehicles along the Maharlika Highway in Tiaong town.

According to a spot report from Region 4A police, a Toyota van attempting to overtake a Mitsubishi Xpander collided with an oncoming Bicol Isarog bus. The impact of the collision resulted in the deaths of three van passengers – Leo Montecalbo, Angelou Palacio, and Guillermo Catamco Jr.

The injured passengers were identified as Nasser Lominog, Lenie Dizon, Sandy Flores, Jean Cabacus, Rex Cañete, Eric Atienza, and Roshan Pelayo. All of them were residents of Masbate City.

The police are currently conducting further investigations into the cause of the accident.
