Suspect in Edsa-Ayala tunnel road rage incident to be charged with murder



The Philippine National Police (PNP) is set to file a murder case against the suspect involved in the killing of a stay-in driver during a shooting incident in the Edsa Ayala tunnel in Makati. The suspect, identified as Gerard Raymond Talusan, was announced by Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. The arrest of Talusan was confirmed by Abalos Jr. through a Viber message to reporters. The shooting incident resulted in the death of 65-year-old driver Aniceto Mateo, who was shot while on his way to Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City with passengers Marites Valmorio and a minor. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority temporarily closed the area to motorists following the incident.
