Baguio City’s Krishnah Gravidez Joins Miss World Philippines After Quitting Miss Charm
A day after withdrawing from the Miss Charm pageant, Krishnah Gravidez has been named as Baguio City’s official delegate to the 2024 Miss World Philippines competition. Gravidez took to her social media pages to share the news, posting a series of photos indicating her participation in the Miss World Philippines contest.
The Miss World Philippines pageant recently announced an additional set of candidates for this year’s competition, with the second batch comprising 17 representatives from provincial partners. The first batch of 25 candidates was presented a week ago, following a final screening at Okada Manila in Parañaque City on May 27.
Gravidez’s decision to quit as the Philippines’ representative in the Miss Charm pageant was due to the Vietnamese organizers not releasing details about the global competition, including the date. She was crowned Miss Charm Philippines after finishing in the Top 3 of the 2023 Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
The 2024 Miss World Philippines pageant will award three national crowns, including the top prize, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, and Miss Philippines Tourism titles. The coronation night will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on July 19.
With the addition of candidates from overseas Filipino community partners expected soon, the competition is heating up as Gravidez joins the ranks of hopefuls vying for the prestigious titles.
