Villanueva stated that he is still evaluating his options and emphasized his commitment to serving the best interests of the people. Additionally, he mentioned that he has been offered committee chairmanships by the new leadership but did not provide further details. According to Villanueva, members of the “Magic 7” are currently independent senators.
