Hodge praises Meralco Bolts’ “movie-like” victory in the PBA title race

In a monumental victory, the Meralco Bolts emerged as champions in the PBA for the first time, defeating the strong San Miguel Beermen. The team’s forward, Cliff Hodge, described the win as if it were a movie, expressing his excitement and gratitude for finally achieving the championship after being with the Bolts since 2012.

Hodge played a crucial role in the team’s success, with Chris Newsome’s last-second heroics sealing the victory. Despite his initial doubts, especially as he is now in his mid-30s, Hodge expressed his joy and gratitude for the hard work paying off.

Looking ahead, Hodge is determined to pursue another championship, willing to give his all for the team even if it means enduring more physical challenges. After waiting 13 years for this moment, Hodge emphasized the importance of enjoying the victory and staying focused on the next goal.
