Bolts take back the series lead in thrilling win

Power has been restored and control regained by the Meralco Bolts, as they secured a 93-89 victory over the San Miguel Beermen in Game 3 of the PBA Philippine Cup finals. This win puts the Bolts back in the lead with a 2-1 advantage in the series.

After a disappointing loss in Game 2, the Bolts bounced back with Chris Newsome leading the charge. Newsome’s clutch play, including a crucial three-point shot and two free throws in the final seconds, sealed the win for Meralco.

Despite a strong showing from San Miguel, with June Mar Fajardo and Mo Tautuaa leading the scoring, the Bolts were able to make key defensive stops in the end to secure the victory. Other players like Raymond Almazan, Bong Quinto, Chris Banchero, and Cliff Hodge also made significant contributions to the team’s success.

With this win, Meralco will now look to extend their lead in Game 4 and put the defending champions in a tight spot. The Bolts are determined to continue their strong performance and correct any mistakes as they aim to clinch the championship title.
