De Leon explains during a recent interview that the vape scene was meant to be a spoiler for their upcoming film “A Very Good Girl.” According to De Leon, the leak of the video must have come from someone on set.
Despite the controversy, De Leon defends Bernardo, stating that she shouldn’t be criticized for vaping and drinking because she is of legal age. The film, directed by Petersen Vargas, focuses on women empowerment and is set to premiere in September. The cast includes Angel Aquino, Chie Filomeno, Jake Ejercito, and others.
The filming for the movie wrapped up in July, and Bernardo describes it as her happiest and most memorable shooting experience.
