Constantino ready to face tough competition in ICTSI Lakewood tournament

CABANATUAN CITY – The ICTSI Lakewood Championship is set to begin in Nueva Ecija, with Harmie Constantino aiming for a record-setting win on the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour. The former national champion is looking to continue her dominant streak against a field that includes a former star player.

Constantino, fresh off victories at Palos Verdes, Caliraya Springs, and the Philippine Masters, is determined to start strong in the tournament. She will be up against competitors Mikha Fortuna and Pamela Mariano in the first flight on Tuesday morning.

Princess Superal, the 2022 Asia Pacific Cup champion, is also looking to make her mark in the competition. Coming off a tour in Japan, Superal is eager to challenge Constantino and regain her winning ways on the circuit.

The course at Lakewood Golf and Country Club poses a unique challenge with its flat but challenging layout and 16 interconnected man-made lakes. Despite its 5,967-yard length, players are focused on hitting fairways and greens to navigate the course.

The championship will also feature other prominent players like Sarah Ababa, Florence Bisera, Marvi Monsalve, and Velinda Castil. Amateur Jiwon Lee, who impressed in the Junior PGT, will also be one to watch as she competes against seasoned professionals.

With an exciting lineup of players and three days of competition ahead, the ICTSI Lakewood Championship promises to showcase skill and determination on the golf course.
