Access to water in 75 areas through P1-B DBM project



Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman launched the Support and Assistance Fund to Participatory Budgeting (SAFPB) project in Cebu City. The project aims to provide 75 municipalities with access to safe water supply and sanitation services, with a total allocation of P1 billion. This project will involve participatory budgeting, allowing Civil Society Organizations to participate in project identification, implementation, and monitoring. The launch was done in collaboration with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), with various government officials in attendance. The project reflects the DBM’s commitment to promoting open government in the country.
