Abra and Nueva Ecija Triumph in MPBL Sixth Season

In an intense match over the weekend, Abra showcased their skills in the fourth quarter to defeat Rizal Xentromall with a final score of 74-63. The game, held at the Gov. Andres B. Bernos Memorial Gymnasium at the University of Abra in Bangued, saw Roi Sumang leading the Abra Weavers with 16 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

Meanwhile, the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards emerged victorious in their game against the Parañaque Patriots with a score of 90-79. With this win, Nueva Ecija remains unbeaten after 11 starts and is currently tied with the Quezon Huskers at the top of the elimination phase.

Mark Yee and Joseph Sedurifa made impactful debuts for the Abra team, contributing to their win against Rizal Xentromall. Yee recorded 10 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists, while Sedurifa notched 13 points, three rebounds, and two steals. Jeepy Faundo also played a key role with nine points, six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals.

On the other side, Alwyn Alday led the Golden Coolers with 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals, followed by Kraniel Viloria with 13 points, four rebounds, and five assists.

The victories for Abra and Nueva Ecija mark significant milestones in the ongoing MPBL Sixth Season, which has garnered attention and support from basketball fans across the country.
