Manila Water Infratech Solutions Celebrates 2nd Year in Water and Sanitation Industry
Manila Water Infratech Solutions (MWIS), a subsidiary of Manila Water that provides products and services for water supply and wastewater projects, recently marked its second year in the water and sanitation industry.
Established in 2022, MWIS is a combination of two Manila Water subsidiaries: Manila Water Total Solutions, founded in 2008, and Manila Water Technical Ventures, established in 2018.
With the combined expertise of these companies, MWIS has positioned itself as an Engineering-Procurement-Construction management company specializing in water supply and wastewater projects across 20 locations in the Philippines, Indonesia, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, catering to both public and private real estate developments.
The unit’s capabilities include consultancy and strategic planning aligned with sustainability, innovative engineering and design, procurement of high-quality materials, equipment, and technology, as well as construction management.
Notable projects by MWIS include the Laguna Technopark Sewage and Septage Treatment Plant, the Cebu IT Park Sewage Treatment Plant, and the Boracay Balabag Package Treatment Plant, among others.
Looking ahead, Jose Paolo Serias, General Manager of Manila Water Infratech Solutions, expressed optimism about the company’s vision of sustainable infrastructure, emphasizing the importance of creating lasting impacts and promoting environmental stewardship.
With ongoing projects like the Bonifacio Water Corporation’s Biological Nutrient Removal Upgrade and the Alviera Estate Sewage Treatment Plant in Porac, Pampanga, MWIS continues to focus on driving progress and leaving a legacy of sustainable infrastructure.
