Manila Police Announces Road Closures for June 24 Parade

MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Police District (MPD) announced that several roads in the country’s capital city will be closed on Monday, June 24, for the 453rd Araw ng Maynila Civic and Military Parade.

The Manila police issued an advisory, notifying motorists of road closures starting at 5 a.m. on June 24 affecting the following:
– Onyx St. from A. Francisco St. to Zobel Roxas St.
– Florentino Torres from Nakar St. to San Andreas Ext.
– Sagrada Familia from Nakar St. to Pasig Line
– Zobel Roxas St. from Nakar St. to Pasig Line

Due to this, the MPD advised the public to take these alternative routes:
– Vehicles from Onyx St. that intend to take Zobel Roxas St. should turn right or left to A. Francisco St. to their point of destination
РVehicles from Osme̱a Highway that intend to take Zobel Roxas St. should turn right to Kamagong St. or turn left to Nakar St. to their point of destination
– Vehicles from Del Pan St. that intend to take Zobel Roxas St. should turn right to Pasig Line to their point of destination

The Manila police said the re-opening of affected roads will depend on the actual traffic situation that day.
