After three months of anticipation, the new Honda City is officially confirmed to be arriving in the Philippines. Mark your calendars for the grand launch on July 13, 2023. To avail of an exclusive introductory offer, make sure to reserve your preferred model before July 12. However, the most noteworthy enhancement in the new City is the incorporation of the comprehensive SENSING safety suite, available across all variants.
Indeed, you read that right. With Honda SENSING now included as a standard feature, the Honda City stands as a frontrunner in terms of safety within its segment. Notably, all four variants of the City come equipped with this advanced safety suite, all while maintaining competitive pricing.
Taking a closer look at its exterior, the City showcases new front and rear bumpers, a redesigned grille, and fresh alloy wheels. Although the overall silhouette remains unchanged, the latest release presents a more mature and sporty aesthetic compared to its predecessor.
Step inside, and you’ll discover a digital gauge cluster and an 8″ touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, providing seamless connectivity. However, the entry-level E variant comes with a different audio system.
Powering the new Honda City is the reliable and proven 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine, delivering 119 HP and 145 Nm of torque. This time, manual transmission options are not available, and all variants will come equipped with a CVT.

Furthermore, an array of captivating colors will be offered, including Ignite Red Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl (a new addition), Platinum White Pearl, Taffeta White, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Meteoroid Gray Metallic. Those opting for the white pearl color will have a PHP 20,000 premium added to the price tag.
During the period from July 1 to 12, 2023, customers reserving a Honda City will have the reservation fee waived, amounting to PHP 5,000. This offer is applicable to units purchased and released on or before August 31, 2023.
